The article examines the cultural significance of the Bodhi tree (Ficus religiosa) and the term «Bodhi»

the legend of Prince Siddhartha Gautama. Initially, the Bodhi rosary was used by Buddhists as a
prayer tool to count the number of prayers instrument during the recitation of mantras, similar to the
rosary used in other world religions. Describes the use of the Bodhi tree in Buddhist monasteries
and its symbolic significance in religious practices and sacred artifacts. Special attention is paid to
archaeological finds confirming the cults significance of the Bodhi tree in various regions, including
beads from the fruits of this tree detected in the Munchaktepa necropolis. Despite the lack of direct

Bodhi tree in the cultural and spiritual context of the region. The article accentuates on the material
culture and socio-economic life of the inhabitants of the early medieval Ferghana Valley, emphasizing
